Special Reserve Red

Vineyard location: Upper Galilee, Golan Heights, Jezreel Valley and Judean Hills

Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Carignan and Marselan

Soil: Terra Rossa, basalt stony soil, clay, chalk and Rendzina

Altitude: 200-600 meters above sea level

Vinification: Selective hand harvest separately for each variety. Moderate temperature fermentation, free run wine only, and aging in large oak barrels. After a few months, a series of tastings is conducted by the winemakers, and then the final blend, from the most outstanding barrels will undergo further aging. Total aging period is 18 months

Tasting Notes: Special Reserve Red is a rich, full-bodied wine with balanced acidity allowing it to mature over many years. The wine has a bouquet of dark berries, black pepper and Mediterranean spices
