Recanati Jonathan

The Jonathan label illustrates a secret of Recanati’s quality wines. They combine different, selected growing regions with sensitive and elegant winemaking. The wines are produced in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks in order to preserve their freshness and express pure fruit aromas.

Jonathan Red

Vineyard location: Galilee, Golan heights and Judean plain
Grape varieties: Syrah, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon
Soil: Terra Rossa, basalt stony soil, clay and heavy alluvial
Altitude: 50-630 meters above sea level
Vinification: Moderate temperature fermentation, delicate pressing and aging in controlled stainless-steel tanks
Tasting notes: The wine exhibits a round and soft tannin structure, with balanced acidity and a velvety texture. It brings out fruit characteristics of plum and cherry with a touch of violets and black pepper
